How to use the Tailgate Pad

Installation of the tailgate pad is simple! To find the best pad for your truck measure the length and width of the tailgate. This will let you know what size is the most compatible with your vehicle. 

Once you have determined the best size: 

1. Lay the pad over the tailgate with RIDAEKAC facing out. 
2. Open the tailgate just a bit and thread the straps through. Make sure you have allowed enough slack to do this. 
3. Close the tailgate and thread the strap ends onto the never rust aluminum clips. 
4. Tighten the straps so that the pad fits snug on the tailgate. 
5. Gather the excess strap into the provided loops. 
6. You are now ready to use the pad!

When loading bikes start from left to right with the disk rotors facing out. Secure the bikes using the straps attached to the pad. There are thick foam dividers on the top of the pad that protect the bikes.

  • 54" pad will hold up to 5 bikes. 
  • 62" pad will hold up to 6 bikes. 
• Will the pad cover the latch or my rear camera? 
  • The pad has a center window panel that will open for the rear camera and tailgate latch access. 
• Can I leave the pad on my truck? 
  • It is recommended that the pad be stored when not in use and not left in the elements. A storage bag is included with the pad.
